Sarah Wall has over 25 years’ experience as a senior funder to the social housing, real estate and infrastructure industries.
At Saltaire Housing, Venn Partners, Sarah has Chaired the £6bn Credit Committee since the Affordable Homes Guarantee Scheme 2020 started business in 2021.
Sarah has previously served as a Non-Executive on the Social Housing Regulator, as well as two London Local Authority housing subsidiaries. She was previously a Non-Executive Director and R&NCo Chair at Sparrow Shared Ownership, the For Profit Registered Provider owned by the UK’s largest pension fund, Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS).
In her executive career, Sarah was most recently a senior portfolio manager at Aviva, responsible for managing over £1bn of pension and insurance assets. She ran the £2bn illiquid credit portfolio at the Pension Protection Fund and was Director of Credit Research and Debt Restructuring at M&G. Sarah also has a strong background in risk management, having been Head of Investment Risk at Pension Insurance Corporation. She was a Director at Fitch Ratings.
Sarah has mentored women in the investment industry, was short-listed for the 2024 City NED Awards as a ‘NED to Watch’ and was a Timewise Power Part Timer. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
